Which Way Do You Go?

OK, I knew this time would come…It’s kind of like partying a little too hard on Saturday night & then waking up Sunday to a hangover…or at least that is what the girl tells me…Alcohol has never touched these terrier lips.

I know I want to blog, & I felt all terrierific on Monday when I had the girl set this up & send out my first posts…But now what? I was zooming all over the house with joy after getting so many nice comments on that first post, & I don’t want to disappoint all my anipals & their staff.

What will this blog be? What will it look like? What is the girl technically able to do with it? How do I keep it my own, & stay true to my unique low-to-the-ground point of view?

These are some of the many questions the girl & I are discussing today. I want her to put in more pictures of my extremely handsome self…she says she likes to paint pictures in words. I think that’s mostly because she’s not too good on  the technical side of things, but I don’t want to hurt her feelings.

I bet all of you have asked these questions, so if you’d like to give me some advice that would be great…just leave me a comment & tell me how you made some of these choices.

Time for me to go chase Mau Kitteh around…can’t let him think I’m not watching.

About Gizmo

Hi! I'm Gizmo...a handsome terrier-about-town with a distinct point of view. I will write about whatever interesting things come across my desk, appear on my twitter feed @GizmoGeodog, or meet me out on the geotrails. I love to geocache cause it takes me to all the wild places & I can get back to being a real dog. I care about all my brofurs & sisfurs who haven't found their own forever homes yet, & raise funds to help them whenever I can. My girl brought me home from the shelter & together we explore our world. I do my best to make her smile, & she does her best for me. We are a team.

  1. I know how you feel…especially the technical aspect to blogging is overwhelming.

I suggest creating drafts of posts when you get ideas, that way when a great idea pops in your head, you won’t forget it.

Do what feels most comfortable to you and your schedule. Make your own rules 🙂

Hey Gus, I’m a Terrier…I always make my own rules 🙂 But I really like your idea of doing up drafts as inspiration hits…I’m gonna get the girl started on that right away…Thanks!
