You may notice there’s a new look here today…Thanks so much toDawn Miklich for leading me to Windows Live Writer which gives me so many new options…and to think I’d had it installed all along and didn’t know it…doh!
And today is the first day of the 30/30 challenge from our friends at You Did What With Your Weiner. Click on the link in the sidebar to read about the challenge. We’ve committed to walking our dogs a minimum of 30 minutes a day for the next 30 days and today is Day 1. I’ve created a ticker to track my our progress and will post it here every day of the challenge so you can see how we’re doing.

Welcome back Sugar! Hope you had a great holiday with lots of Golden Fun…Mom & I do long weekend hikes but we haven’t been good about weekday walks (all her fault!) so we hope this challenge is what we need to get the habit started…I love all walks, even the shorter ones when I get to explore my neighborhood *snoogles*

*pawwaves* Live Writer should work with blogger…If you have it installed on your PC open it and go through he setup for your blog…it’s real simple even for a techno dummy like me…there’s a step where you choose your blog platform and blogger is one of the options…I’ll email you the code…kind of figured it out by trial and error (lots of errors) Happy New Year!

We think that must be a wordpress exclusive thingy? We blogger types haven’t heard of Windows Live Writer…? But it sure looks pawesome!

Gizmo’s mom here…Live Writer is a Windows installed utility that allows you to do all your blog writing, formatting, graphics, media etc even off line if you want…You select your blog platform and it configures itself…From then on, you do your post, preview it in live writer, make any changes and then have the choice to either publish immediately or save it as a draft to your blog…Then you can schedule the draft for publication…Hope I’ve explained this right cause I really love it…it’s my favorite new toy

Oh no! We heard some more here too…college kids from the school next door…I sent you a link with something that might help…at least it should all be over now (till July) and I sent you an email with what I’ve learned so far about using Live Writer…the more I use it the better I like it Are you joining the 30/30 challenge? We’ll virtually walk together! *backtoworksnoogles* for all!
Happy New Year to you as well Gizmo!! (and mom too.) I can commit to 30 minutes a day in the summer months, but not in the winter, it gets dark so early our daily walks are limited to around the block. 😦
Because of the heat here Gizmo & I actually do our walks very early…before sunrise most days, so we see the sun rising as we head home…Otherwise we wouldn’t walk in Summer cause by 9 am it’s often too hot for comfort…since I’m an early riser it works out well
