This week I was doubly excited to learn that I’d received two wonderful tokens of Blogger Love. I guess for some of you whose wonderful blogs I follow this may be old hat, but to this still-newbie blogger it’s cause for joy…Just like Sally Field I want to jump up and shout…
Both these awards were presented to Gizmo & me by the wonderful Hannah of Animal Tails, and I can’t thank Hannah enough for starting my 2013 blogging year off in such a splendid fashion.
On New Year’s Eve I learned I was shortlisted for her Animal Tails Blog Award Ceremony 2012. She even created an adorable badge for the award. Gizmo & I didn’t win our category, but as they say at the Oscars “It’s an honor just to be nominated”…except unlike Hollywood, I really mean it.
Then on New Years Day, much to my great surprise, Hannah bestowed on us a coveted “2012 BLOG OF THE YEAR” trophy with our first-ever star…Wow! if that’s not the way to start off the new year right!
As many of you know, this award comes with some rules. If you receive the award, you must pass it on. But this award is special, as you can receive it multiple times, each time adding a star to your badge. You can present the award to any number of blogs that have not yet accumulated all six stars, including the one that gave it to you.
For various reasons I’m passing on this award to the following blogs. They are all different, but what they have in common is that they keep me coming back regularly to see what’s new in their worlds.
